Microsoft akhirnya merilis Microsoft Office untuk Android, setelah sebelumnya hadir untuk perangkat iOS. Lebih jauh aplikasi ini diberi nama Office Mobile for Office 365.

Aplikasi ini bisa diunduh secara gratis untuk Android. Sayangnya, untuk negara Indonesia tidak dapat mengunduhnya. Meski dapat diunduh secara gratis, nyatanya aplikasi ini bersifat subscription untuk menggunakannya. Dan membutuhkan minimal Android 4.0+ untuk dapat mengopreasikan aplikasi ini. Ukuran APK sebesar 27 MB dan baru aplikasi ini baru saja dirilis Microsoft pada tanggal 31 Juli 2013 kemarin.

Untuk mensubriction aplikasi ini tidak bisa membeli secara langsung, melainkan melalui situs Microsoft Office. Harga yang ditawarkan untuk versi Home Premium adalah Rp 72.999 untuk satu bulan dan Rp 729.999 untuk satu tahun.
